The NSW Premier has confirmed that the next step in the delivery of the Beaches Link Tunnel project has been completed by Cabinet.
The Beaches Link project is an integrated infrastructure proposal that connects to the West Harbour Tunnel project, both surfacing on the Warringah Freeway. Both projects are being developed concurrently and construction is anticipated to start in 2020 with the projects anticipated to finish in 2026.
The Government has released update design information on the Beaches Link and this can be accessed at http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/documents/projects/sydney-north/western-harbour-tunnel-beaches-link/beaches-link-project-update.pdf. The likely entry portals are; at Wakehurst Parkway, shown on page 27 and at Burnt Creek, shown on page 25.
